Kinetic's Rock And Roll With Road Machine Trainer takes realism and your workout to a whole new level because, just like you do when you're standing to climb a hill outdoors, this trainer lets you rock side to side. This allows working on your technique and also helps you build core strength as you apply smooth power and resist rocking. Plus, the Rock And Roll's motion is damped and will work with any weight rider. Equally impressive is the included Kurt Road Machine Trainer that is perfect for everything from intervals and sprints to easy spins. This 100% leak-proof fluid trainer is super smooth and quiet and its resistance unit with 6.25-pound flywheel is engineered and proven to simulate outdoor riding perfectly so that on the Road Machine you experience the same workout you get outside. Other important features include a super-stable oversize frame with removable legs for storage and portability, an easy-to-use and super-secure bike mount that handles quick-release and bolt-on wheels and a 2 1/8-inch wide roller that reduces tire wear. The fluid inside the resistance unit even resists heating up, which means you always work out against real-life resistance complementing the amazing rocking motion.

This is my first trainer, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, I've found that the ability to rock the bike really helps replicate road feel. You're also force to pay more attention to your core position or else you'll "tip" the bike over (it won't really fall thanks to the legs on the unit, but you'll definitely feel awkward). All in all, a great way to stay in the saddle over the winter.
Kinect exceeded my expectations, I use it on rainy days, when you close your eyes you can imagine in the street.
